IEC Convention & Expo (Baltimore, MD)
Client Challenge:
How can your event really spark some engagement?
Engagement:
The Independent Electrical Contractors national convention brings contractors together for educational sessions, networking, an interactive expo and invaluable business takeaways and peer connections.
THE CHALLENGE
The annual IEC national convention and expo requires branding specific to the event’s location, and also must include electrical themes in the aesthetic. For this event, the location was Baltimore, MD.
THE SOLUTION
Think Baseline took inspiration from the colors of the Maryland state flag and from the industrial feel of the city, then combining the design with fun and interesting facts about Baltimore. This visual approach gave the promotional pieces created for the convention a unique and geo-centric appeal. Since it was also an opportunity to share with attendees things to do in Baltimore, we collaborated with the city’s Visitor Bureau, which provided us with the latest tourism information and some beautiful imagery.
