How do you handle full-time design needs with no in-house creative team?

The Independent Electrical Contractors is a national trade association serving merit shop electrical and systems contractors. The IEC acts as the representative for the industry regarding policies that affect the members, and works to aid the country’s economic growth via skilled labor and the ideals of free enterprise.
THE CHALLENGE
The IEC had a great deal of design needs, within their main organization and throughout some local chapters. They needed one resource for all of their creative, and they needed a partner who could elevate the look and feel of the IEC brand.
THE SOLUTION
We began a creative partnership with IEC that is ongoing. We have rebranded all IEC events as well as internal and external communications including the website, magazine and stationery. We act as an extension of the IEC team, providing creative solutions for projects of all sizes. IEC relies on the Think Baseline team for any design requests, and we are essentially their off-site in-house design team.
